Nessa Blair (Fire Fly)

Winged Valkyrie'esque character for passion project

Modelled in zbrush, unwrapped in 3dsmax, animated and rigged in blender, rendered in marmoset

I've gone and re-editted this post from it's original. I've realized I don't do enough justice with my work at the very end, and need to begin doing a better job with rendering the final image and posing it. Hence a update on this post

Breakdown of making the wing. I first began with creating the silhouette of a butterfly wing and the black outline of it. once i've made the shape of the black outline, closed the holes, extruded, cleaned and retopo'd via Zmodeller in zbrush.

Example of exporting the mesh from Zbrush. I would have everything poly-grouped, then proceed to unwrap in 3DSMax, apply symmetry and then proceed to Substance painter to bake and texture.
